If you, or someone you know, relies on electricity for healthcare needs, you can join the Medical Care Register to get extra support during a power cut. Please fill out the form below.

NIE Networks operates a free Medical Care Register for consumers relying on electricity for their daily care. Adding your details to our form below will prioritise your contact details if your supply goes off. We will make sure you are registered with both Budget Energy and NIE Networks on the Medical Care Register.

Customers who have medical equipment in their homes, such as specialised mattresses, feeding systems or lifting equipment, can register to receive up-to-date information by phone during a power cut or planned interruption to their supply. 

When you register, you may like to provide us with details of a carer, relative, neighbour or friend as an alternative contact, just in case we are unable to speak with you.
